How can I get help understanding EPA regulations so I can make sure that my company or business is compliant?

The Office of Compliance and Enforcement (OECA) can provide compliance assistance. Contact information for OECA may be found here: http://www2.epa.gov/enforcement/forms/enforcement-contact-us

Regional compliance assistance is also available. Regional compliance assistance activities include developing and conducting workshops and training sessions, responding to questions from the regulated community, developing and distributing guidance materials and providing direct on-site compliance assistance. To get information about your local Compliance Assistance Coordinator, select your state or territory from the list or the map on the following page: http://www.epa.gov/compliance/contact/cac_regional.html

The Sector Notebook series is a unique set of profiles containing information for specific industries and governments. Unlike other resource materials, which are organized by air, water and land pollutants, the Notebooks provide a holistic approach by integrating processes, applicable regulations and other relevant environment information.

Additionally, you may wish to review the websites for the Compliance Assistance Centers which are linked from the Compliance Assistance Center introduction page. Compliance Assistance Centers help businesses, local governments, and federal facilities understand and comply with federal environmental requirements and save money through pollution prevention techniques: http://www.epa.gov/compliance/assistance/centers/index.html

You may also find it useful to contact your state environmental agency for information on any additional state or local compliance information: http://www2.epa.gov/home/state-and-territorial-environmental-agencies
